We are the Anglican Churches in western Prince County, Prince Edward Island, serving the communities of Alberton, O'Leary, Kildere Capes, Alma and the surrounding areas.
At present, we gather at St. Peter's Church in Alberton on Sundays at 10:30am, but often hold services at our other churches as well.
We would love to have you join us, please see our main page for upcoming events and service announcements.
The history of our Parish began in 1859 with the arrival of missionary Rev. R.W. Dyer - for the next 24 years he brought God's word to the people of western Prince Edward Island through his faith and determination and set a strong foundation for the parishioners who today are 5 generations on. Service to the community has changed from pioneer days of people helping people, medical support, helping when death hit families hard, crops failing, and people going off to fight in the Wars; to today of people helping people through home visits, youth ministry for young people destine to leave home and the parish but drawn back by strong ties, starting seniors homes, history of bazaars, ACW, the Caring Cupboard food bank and the evolving family trees with multigenerational support to welcoming new arrivals.
